It has been
reported by Shri P. Ajit Kumar AGS-I acting as General Secretary that a
delegation of Circle Secretaries from Bihar, Harayana, Himachal
Pradesh, Maharashtra, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu and Utttar Pradesh
has met Secretary (Posts), DDG (Esttt) and ADG (Estt) today in
connection with fixation of pay of Inspector Posts cadre w.e.f.
1/1/2006. Team explained them the anomaly in fixation of pay on
upgradation of GP of Inspector Posts from Rs. 4200/- to Rs. 4600/- with
effect from 1/1/2006. The officers have patiently heard the issues
raised by team and assured that a clarification order will be issued at
the earliest. The meeting was held in co-ordinal atmosphere.
